Yesterday's (July 8) article ‘Employer donated $40k to Shorten 2007 campaign while negotiating EA' incorrectly stated Bill Shorten was Australian Workers Union Vic branch secretary until August 2007 (WF 19693) . Shorten resigned from the state branch position in 2006. However, he remained national secretary until November 2007.
